This policy explains how Wriggle collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app.
1. Information We Collect
We collect account details, pet profiles, care reminders, care logs, shopping activity, ratings, uploaded media, app settings, support messages, and technical data such as device, browser, usage, request, and error logs.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate Wriggle, authenticate users, personalize pet care and shopping experiences, maintain safety, improve product quality, debug issues, prevent abuse, and communicate service updates.
3. AI Processing
Some app features may send relevant prompts, pet context, shopping context, and user messages to AI service providers so Wriggle can generate responses or classify requests. Do not enter sensitive information that is not needed for the feature you are using.
4. Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us run Wriggle, including hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, logging, AI, and checkout or merchant integrations. We may also share information when required by law or to protect users, the service, or others.
5. Merchant Purchases
When you choose to buy from a merchant or checkout provider, that merchant or provider may collect purchase, payment, shipping, and account information under its own policies. Review merchant terms and privacy policies before purchase.
6. Public Sharing
If you create public pet share links, only fields configured for public sharing should be visible. Do not share links with people who should not see that information.
7. Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain backups. You can request permanent deletion through Wriggle's account-deletion page. Account access is disabled while interrupted deletion requests are retried. We retain a minimal deletion tracking record for 30 days after completion to prevent stale sessions from recreating the account. Short-lived operational caches expire within 24 hours if they cannot be removed immediately.
8. Children
Wriggle is not intended for children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13.
9. Security
We encrypt data in transit using HTTPS, restrict access to production systems and service credentials, validate authenticated access to private records, and use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No service is completely secure, so keep your account credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
10. Your Choices
You can update information in the app, stop using optional features, revoke shared links where available, and permanently delete your account through the account-deletion page. We do not sell personal information.
